“IT” Pring Ranch Productions 2008 Rule’

Anyone is eligible to enter our races. To be eligible to receive  year end awards you must be a member of “IT” Pring Ranch Productions.

You can run as many horses as you would like. The entry fees at most races are $45.00 for the first horse and $40.00 ea. for additional horse.

Our races are 5D 1/2 splits. Most of them are BBR approved. The payoff percentages are 1D 36%, 27% 2D, 19% 3D, 11% 4D, 7% 5D.  There has to be enough entries for the 5D to win their entry back before a 5D is paid.  There will be an attendance point given in all divisions at each race for each entry, provided you make what would be considered a WPRA qualified run.   Points 1st 6, 2nd-5, 3rd 4, 4th3, 5th 2.  If you hit a barrel your attendance point will be added into the division you would have paced in. (The divisions are determined by penalty free runs.) Example If you place in the 1D 1st on one horse you get your 1D points (6). If you hit a barrel on your other horse and your time would have been in the 1D you will get an attendance point in the 1D on that horse even though you hit a barrel, making 7 the total rider points . Each horse would get their earned points plus attendance point for each  qualified time.  If you had hit a barrel and it would have been  a time in another division you will get the attendance point in that division.

 

We will be giving  year end awards on the rider as well as their horses.  You must give the entry secretary the name of the horse you are running when you draw your run number.  You must run in the position you draw for that horse.  You cannot change draw possessions with your horses.

 If you do not give your horses name when you enter the points for that race will not count.

We hope to give awards in all 5 divisions for the rider as we have done in the passed years. We will be giving awards for the horses this year.  We need saddle and buckle sponsors for all  five divisions for the horses.

You can receive your awards in every division you place in, or you can elect to bow out of a division and let some one move up if you choose.  Example I placed in the 1D, 2D, and 3D last year and chose to take my highest award which was in the 2D, and let the others behind me move up for an award.  This is totally up to you.  You can choose to keep all your awards.

 Rules for the series are the same you will get a point for each horse you enter. example If you win the 1D and place in any other division you will get a point for your other horse giving you 7. you need to be sure and give your horses names when you enter if you nominate them for the horse divisions.
